What IS a Virtual Assistant (VA)?
The easy answer would be an Administrative or Personal Assistant not located with you. Communication is through the phone, email, IM or fax. There are many different types of VA’s, most offering the same types of services, and a few specializing in just a particular segment. A VA is usually self-employed and hired on a contractual basis; paid by job, by hourly rate or can be retained monthly for a set fee.
