This page is designed to give you some ideas as I have found that most folks need help but have a hard time figuring out what to get help with.  This list is here to get you thinking but is not limited to just these tasks.  Don't see something you need help with?  Ask me!


Research: 

Search the web for sales leads that you want to know more about, checking facts, or finding you a short list with reviews, recommendations or best deals possible on items which you wish to purchase for your professional or personal life.

 

Proofreading and Editing: 

Checking documents or articles that you have written for those pesky little typos that you have continually missed after reading the same thing for days!  Helping to re-word a sentence or paragraph to read better but making sure your “voice” shines through or becoming your "Ghost Writer" by fully developing your ideas. Want to submit your article to many sources?  Provide me the information on where you want to post and I will save you the time of submitting it.

 

Communicating with Service Companies: 

You don’t have the time to sit on the phone with service companies (e.g. phone, internet, cable, shopping sites) to find out why something doesn’t work or why you didn’t receive something you ordered.  I will contact them as your representative – then spend the time with them doing the troubleshooting needed to help figure out what is wrong and how to fix it.  This might include phone, email or internet communications.

 

Office Organization: 

Live in Syracuse or Rochester, NY or the area in-between?  I can come to your home office and help you reorganize your space.  Click here for a before and after office.  Don’t file but pile?  I can provide filing help for you on a weekly, monthly or yearly basis.

 

Client Care:  

Clients love a “thank you”; it sends a personal touch that can help with repeat business for you and build a sound relationship.  I can send thank you cards or follow up with phone calls to see if they are happy or need further assistance.

 

Desktop Publishing: 

Have a special event and want to provide a flyer, brochure or invitation?  Design or update your menu for your restaurant? Newsletters? Business Cards? Give me the pertinent information and I will do the rest.  I can email you the finished product or make sure it is copied and sent out! 

 

Classified Listing Site Posting: 

Have something to sell or a service to provide?  I can save you time by posting the listing to a number of sites and in different cities.

 

Event and Trip Planning: 

Need a place to eat or something to fill the down time while you are on a business trip? I can research the best places to eat and the must-see things to do while you are there and let you know how to get there. Not sure how much it will cost for everything?  Have a question for the hotel, the airline, the restaurant, etc.?  I can provide that information plus anything else you needed to know about your trip. 

After your trip, let me put your pictures in a powerpoint slide show or design a memory book.

 

Blog Assistance 

Feeling overwhelmed with your blog?  Need it to be proofed before it is sent out? Important comments lost in the ramblings?  I can find them and make sure you have them in a timely manner.

 

Personal Profiles 

Want to post to myspace, match.com, linkedIN or other social networking sites and don’t have the time or the know-how?  I can set up your basic account giving you time to focus in on developing the relationships you want.

 

Email or Voicemail Management: 

Too many voice or emails to handle in a day?  I can respond to the routine ones with your guidance on what your routine answers are.  I can forward emails or voice mails that are a priority and handle items if you are away from your desk for the day or the week.

 

Online Shopping: 

Let me do the research, find out the reviews and opinions and give you a short list within your budget.  I can also purchase items for you.

 

Data Entry: 

Let me take the time to enter data into contact forms, spreadsheets, etc.

Website Design, Development and Maintenance:  

Full design services or help in designing your website for yourself.  Check website links to make sure they stay current, contact web host for help and advice.  Update your website and offer suggestions on how to make it more appealing to customers.
